Israel is the messiah according to author Daniel Paul K., who makes a strong case to back up his claim that neither Jesus nor any future king are or will be the savior.
The Tanakh and New Testament never meshed in my opinion. There are so many inconsistencies in Christianity, and here the author explains why. Jesus’ words have been misinterpreted as well the words of the psalmists and prophets in the Tanakh.
The basic premise is that while Jews are waiting for the mashiach to come and are expecting a king, Christians believe the messiah has already come and will return to finish the prophecies. But the author believes there is no and never will be a human messiah. The mashiach is Israel, and we are now in the messianic age as G-d has returned Jews to the Promised Land. The prophesies have come true, and the author explains how and why.
Honestly, I had no desire to read this book, but read it anyway. As it turns out, I’ve found it to be quite compelling! I have studied Christianity and there was a great deal that never made sense to me. The author’s explanations make more sense than anything I’ve ever heard. This is truly an amazing read!
The only downside is that it does need editing as other reviewers have stated. It is written in a foreign English, which doesn’t bother me because I’m used to it. There are some typos and punctuation errors too, but the biggest issue is the never-ending paragraphs. The book is filled with wall-to-wall bible verses set in huge blocks of text. It would make it easier on the eyes to chop up those paragraphs. But these things are fixable.
The content is what counts, and I would recommend this book to anyone of any Abrahamic faith. It may change the way you think, and you will never read the Bible the same way again.
