IDF VIDEO UPDATES: Damage Caused by Rockets Fired from Gaza into Ashkelon, Israel

On Saturday, November 18, 2012, Palestinian terrorists from the Gaza Strip fired rockets at the Israeli city of Ashkelon. This video shows the damage caused to the area surrounding the strike. Luckily, no injuries were reported. 

 In response to the rocket attacks from Gaza, the IDF has launched a widespread campaign against terror targets in the Strip. The operation, called Pillar of Defense, has two main goals: to protect Israeli civilians and to cripple the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza.
