The Zorba the Buddha Festival is a special festival which takes place every year at the Desert Ashram in the Negev Desert. Uniquely spiritual, the festival is probably the largest festival of its kind in Israel, featuring four days of meditation in a beautiful desert setting. As well as the meditation, the festival has workshops, musical performances, parties, theater, and time for relaxing in the peaceful and enchanted surroundings of the desert. Each year the festival attracts beautiful and special people to the desert. The Zorba the Buddha Festival 2012 takes place between October 3-6, 2012.
