Rocket Barrage from Gaza Hits Eshkol Region - Lullaby, The Hamas Version

Gaza-based terrorists fired a barrage of 12 rockets at southern Israel on Sunday night.

The rockets exploded in open areas in the Eshkol Regional Council, miraculously causing no physical injuries or property damage.

Following the attacks, residents of the communities located near Gaza were asked on Monday morning to remain within 15 seconds from a protected space. However, it is expected that schools in the region will remain open.

Rocket attacks on southern Israel are ongoing, but an escalation in attacks was recorded this week. On Sunday morning, Gaza-based terrorists fired two Grad missiles at the southern Israeli city of Be'er Sheva.

The missiles exploded in an open area near the city and did not cause any physical injuries or damages. The city later announced that schools would be closed because of the attack.

On Saturday night, two Qassam rockets fired from Gaza exploded in an open area in the Eshkol Regional Council district. There were no physical injuries and no damage to property.

The IDF has been retaliating for the continuous rocket attacks by conducting air strikes in Gaza. On Saturday night, an IAF airstrike target a terrorist cell in Gaza. On Sunday night, IAF aircraft struck several terror targets, including a center of terrorist activity and a rocket launching area in northern Gaza, as well as a center of terrorist activity in southern Gaza.

Gaza-based terrorists fired more than 80 rockets at the region on Wednesday alone.

Three people were wounded, two of them seriously, and three homes were hit in a morning rocket barrage.

By Wednesday night it was reported that an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire had been reached between Hamas and Israel. That ceasefire, however, was broken after several hours, when terrorists again fired a mortar shell at the Eshkol district.
