August 14, 2012: The Walkmen concert in Tel Aviv, Israel - Istanbul–Tel Aviv

American indie rock band The Walkmen will perform for the first time in Israel with a concert in Tel Aviv this August. The band, who have been formed for ten years are coming as part of a tour following the launch of their new album, Heaven which has already been described as their best and most accomplished album yet. The Walkmen will perform at the Barbi Club in Tel Aviv, Israel on August 14, 2012. Tickets will be on sale from NIS 189.

Beit Avi Chai presents "Istanbul-Tel Aviv": Music without Borders

Composer and percussionist Yinon Muallem in a special performance to mark the tenth anniversary of activity on the Istanbul-Tel Aviv line. Muallem's music combines Israeli and Turkish music to create a unique and original sound.

Muallem and the Rast Ensemble will perform familiar tracks from their albums: "Blue Camel," the "Hyacinth Song," "Hava Nargileh," "In Your Mercy," "Breath," and others.
