Six years after the kidnapping of IDF soldiers Eldad Regev and Udi Goldwasser, Hezbollah has released video documenting the attack on the soldiers’ convoy on the border with Lebanon. The Hezbollah terrorists can be seen crossing the border fence with ease. The Hummer in which Regev and Goldwasser were driving is ambushed from a number of different directions. The Hezbollah cell approaches the Hummer to kidnap the IDF soldiers. However, the video ends before we are able to see whether or not the soldiers were taken out of the vehicle alive. Karnit Goldwasser, widow of Udi, said that she hopes that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah meets the same fate as Osama Bin Laden. One of the soldiers who survived the attack and watched the videos said he was shocked at the ease with which a large number of Hezbollah guerillas were able to cross the border and carry out the attack.

Al Qaeda has released a video in which Al Qaeda fighters survey Israeli troops on the other side of the border with Sinai. In the film, the Al Qaeda operatives take credit for some of the recent attacks on Israel emanating from Sinai. The video shows how Al Qaeda is building a terror net in the Egyptian territory without interference from the Egyptian Army.

A Bulgarian investigative website is claiming that the person in the video which defense authorities claim carried out the attack which killed 5 Israelis in Burgas was in fact not the suicide bomber. The website also claims that the person carrying the explosives did not know he was carrying the bomb, which was set off via remote control.

Oppostion leader Shaul Mofaz warned that a pre-emptive Israeli strike on the Iranian nuclear facilities could lead to a disaster. Mofaz said that such a strike would probably lead to a larger war and would diminish Israel’s chances of acting against the Iranian nuclear program in the future and would endanger Israeli citizens.
