Hevron Arabs Rampage in Funeral, Attack Jews

Source: Arutz Sheva
By Gil Ronen

Dozens of Hevron area Arabs went on the rampage Saturday night during the funerals for four Arabs who died in a traffic accident earlier in the day.

The rioters hurled rocks at cars with Israeli license plates and at IDF forces in Hevron. Several cars were damaged. A Jewish resident told Arutz Sheva that a car driven by a Jew was ambushed and attacked severely but managed to escape the angry mob.

The Tatzpit agency reported that an Israeli was injured by rocks and received treatment from Kiryat Arba's Magen David Adom teams.

Tzipi Shlissel of Hevron's Jewish community said Saturday night: "This is the result of the Arab terrorist construction around the Jewish community and on the routes to the Cave of Machpela. I call upon the prime minister to stop the move to massively populate the area around the Cave of Machpela, and to allow Jews to live in Hevron. This will increase the security of those who visit the graves of the Patriarchs."
