We need a Prime Minister, not a Public Relations Director

Source: A Voice From Hebron
By Gary A. Cooperberg

Yes, indeed, it is important to show the world how unfair Israel is being treated. It should be pointed out how the UN condemns Israel for building homes, yet does nothing to complain about Israel’s towns and cities being literally bombed. So what else is new? By all means the government of Israel should have a public relations campaign. . . but this is not the job of the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister, first and foremost, has an obligation to protect his country from harm. He is not doing his job. This iron dome nonsense reminds me of how we responded to stoning of cars by equipping them with plastic windows. The message is the same. We can learn to live with rocks and we can learn to live with missiles. Wrong message. One cannot “tolerate” terror. He must obliterate it.

Our genius leaders assured us that by abandoning Gaza and removing all Jews, dead and alive, we would achieve peace and quiet. Now that everyone can see what a stupid mistake that was what are we doing to correct the mistake? Nothing! Netanyahu is begging the UN to condemn hundreds of missiles being fired on our civilian populations. If only they would stop trying to murder us we can continue making peace with the murderers. Is that what a self respecting leader does?

If he really wants to see UN condemnation it is really very simple. Do your job and obliterate everything that moves in Gaza. The missiles will stop immediately and permanently. Then, once the place is clean, we can move Jews back into Gaza and rebuild Jewish life there. The UN will immediately issue its condemnations and Bibi can explain why we did what we had to do.

Our enemies are conducting a war against the Jewish State. Our leaders refuse to recognize the war and instead treat each attack as if it were in independent act of terror. Until and unless we are willing to recognize the war we will not win it. Our country is under attack and we are not fighting back! Better to be condemned by the UN for defending ourselves then to be praised by it for committing suicide.

Project Shofar seeks to bring this message to those who choose not to see. It is incredible that the majority, both in the Exile and even in Israel, fail to see the obvious. They prefer to believe in the nonsense that we can make peace with those who seek our destruction rather than to accept the reality that with us is the greatest power in the world Who wants us to make real peace simply by accepting and demonstrating the fact that He and only He is in charge.
