Official Palestinian Authority television has twice recently broadcast a song that glorifies the use of terrorism to achieve an independent state.
The song, documented and translated by the media watchdog organization Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), states that violence and “Martyr's blood” will be used to achieve statehood.
It demonizes Israel as a “treacherous aggressor,” and vilifies the Jewish State as a “sinner.”
The song was broadcast on the Fatah-run PA TV television network from the PA capital, Ramallah, located in Samaria, on January 20 and again on February 1 of this year.
Following is the full text of the song:
"Palestine is a state built on struggle
With the Martyr's blood, with gunfire
It [Palestine] will restore the plant to its land
It will bring home those who are distant
It will return the stolen [property] to its inhabitants
So that Arab honor will not be degraded
O treacherous aggressor, O sinner (Israel)
We will rise like the sun, shining on dry grass.”
