Israel’s first Bedouin diplomat will speak next Thursday in the Five Towns Area

Please join us to hear Ishmael Khaldi, Israel's first Bedouin diplomat. Ishmael was born in Khawalid in the Western Galilee and educated at the University of Haifa and Tel Aviv University. He has served in the IDF, Defense Ministry and the Israeli Police before joining the Foreign Ministry in 2004. He has recently published his biography, A SHEPHERD'S JOURNEY which tells the story of Ishmael's journey from a shepherd to his becoming the first Bedouin diplomat representing Israel and a voice of reason in the Middle East. His book will be available for purchase. The lecture will be in English.

Directions;
From Binyamina, on road 652, pass three circles (roundabouts) in Pardess Chana. After the third circle at the Pardes Chana Agricultural School, continue to the next intersection and turn right. Pass one other circle and continue for two blocks to Rechov Hadarim. Neve Michael will be gated in on your left opposite a large field. Turn left and park in the field.

From Hadera, Travel on Road 65 to the Alon Intersection ( the first traffic light after the Gan Shmuel shopping complex ) and turn left into Pardes Chana. At the first traffic circle in Pardes Chana turn right – you will arrive at the main gate of Neve Michael -continue left and at Rechov Hadarim (approximately 20-30 meters) turn right and park in the field that will be to your left.
