Students at the University of Western Ontario have organized a fundraiser to rehabilitate the Carmel Forest. Israel Ambassador Conference Call With Yoel Shalit   Eliana Grosman, Israel Ambassador Participants of the Israel Ambassador Program spoke today with Yoel Shalit, the brother of captured Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit. Yoel, who works and attends to university part time, spoke of the recent march across Israel that he and his family led, and that picked up 200,000 followers along the way. The march ended in Jersualem outside the Prime Minister's home, where a tent has been pitched, and where the Shalit family and their supporters plan to remain until the Israeli government progresses in their efforts to bring Gilad home... read more Former Spanish Prime Minister, Jose Maria Aznar at York University   The Canadian Network for Israel Affairs cosponsored and event featuring, Jose Maria Aznar, former Spanish Prime Minister,and founding member the Friends of Israel Initiative,José María Aznar, at York University on November 29th, 2010.
