Gaza Front: Terrorist Killed in Clash

IDF soldiers eliminated one terrorist on Tuesday evening in a clash near the Gaza security barrier. Four other terrorists  were wounded.
The dead man was identified as Hassan Abu-Rok Kadeeh, 22, a member of the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC), the same terrorist group that was involved in the 2006 kidnapping of Gilad Shalit. The PRC has released a statement praising Kadeeh as a “martyr.”

Soldiers opened fire as the group of terrorists attempted to plant a bomb near the security barrier in southern Gaza, east of Khan Younis in central Gaza.
Terrorists in Hamas-controlled Gaza have stepped up their activity in recent weeks, firing more rockets at southern Israel and making more frequent attempts to attack soldiers.
On Sunday IDF soldiersfoiled a terrorist attack, killing one. A second terrorist was injured.
Three days earlier, soldiers fired on four young men who approached the southern Israel security fence and ignored warnings to stop. Two were hit. Soldiers suspect that the four were working on behalf of a terrorist group.
In early December, a group of terrorists approached the fence while armed with guns and bombs. IDF soldiers spotted the terror cell and planes and tanks opened fire, killing two.
