Swastikas sprayed on kindergarten walls in Kfar Saba, Israel

European Jews left Europe to get away from this, and now it has come to haunt them once again at their doorstep:

Local residents alert police after also discovering offensive symbol on a number of homes in area; municipality team arrives to remove graffiti.

A number of swastikas were sprayed on the surrounding wall of a kindergarten in Kfar Saba overnight Friday.

Local residents also found swastikas sprayed on a number of buildings in the area and alerted police and the local municipality.

A team from the city's municipality arrived at the scene in an effort to remove the offending graffiti.

Police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.

Swastikas being sprayed on public property in Israel is not a new phenomenon.

In April Tel Aviv Police opened an investigation into who was responsible for drawing swastikas and Palestinian flags on a synagogue in Jaffa’s mixed Jewish-Arab Ajami neighborhood.

Unknown assailants vandalized the synagogue, writing the graffiti in charcoal, which was quickly washed off the morning after. In addition, someone punctured the tires of a car belonging to a Jewish family that lives next to the synagogue.
