| Israel Ambassador Conference Call This Weekend |
As part of the conference call series of the Israel Ambassador Program, the Canadian Network for Israel Affairs is excited to host Israeli Minister Benny Begin this Sunday.
Son of former Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, Dr. Begin was first elected to Knesset in 1988 as part of the Likud Party. Begin is considered a high ranking member of the Likud Party and vocally opposes Israeli concessions.
Minister Begin is considered by many to be to honest to be a politician.
The Israel Ambassadors are extremely excited to have the chance to speak with such an important figure. Stay tuned to hear about this amazing experience! |

| Prime Minister Harper's Speech on Israel & Anti-Semitism |
"In Canada, we have taken a number of steps to assess and combat anti-Semitism in our own country. But of course we must also combat anti-Semitism beyond our borders, - an evolving, global phenomenon. And we must recognize, that while its substance is as crude as ever, its method is now more sophisticated.Harnessing disparate anti-Semitic, anti-American and anti-Western ideologies, it targets the Jewish people by targeting the Jewish homeland, Israel, as the source of injustice and conflict in the world, and uses, perversely, the language of human rights to do so."... read more |
| Report: Iran Gave Hezbollah UAVs, Attack Aircraft |
 Hezbollah has obtained a complete aerial array from Iran, including an attack aircraft and several unmanned aerial vehicles, Channel 10 quoted the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Siyasa on Saturday.
According to sources close to the Hezbollah military leadership, Hezbollah has at least three different kinds of UAVs and an Iranian aircraft that could reach long distances and attack specific targets on the ground.
The sources say that these are the "surprises" that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah promised his organization would use in any future conflict with Israel... read more |
