| Gil Hoffman Attracts Nearly 100 Students at York University |
Today, nearly 100 students at York University attended 'Peace, Politics and Plutonium' featuring senior Jerusalem Post correspondent, Gil Hoffman.
Mr. Hoffman discussed the current state of affairs in Israel and the Middle East. While he said that a military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities should be the last option, Mr. Hoffman spoke in favour of widening economic sanctions against the Iranian Government. All students who were interested in asking Mr. Hoffman questions were able to do so during question period.
The Canadian Network for Israel Affairs would like to thank all cosponsors of the event, including, B'nai Brith on Campus, Christians United for Israel at York, Hasbara at York, Jewish National Fund, Model N.A.T.O, York Campus Conservatives, and York Young Liberals.

The Canadian Network for Israel Affairs and Queens Israel on Campus are excited to present Laurent Mougeot, Director of the International Krav Maga Federation, who is coming to Queen's University to run a self defense workshop in Krav Maga! Come out and learn some cool moves from this internationally acclaimed specialist in the eclectic, hand-to-hand combat system of Krav Maga.

| Birthright Participant Dies on Last Night of Trip |
A Taglit-Birthright Israel participant died in his sleep at the end of last week during the final night of his trip, Birthright officials have confirmed.
Michael Kellogg, 24, was traveling on Birthright with 22- to 26-year-old young professionals through trip provider Kesher Israel, under the arm of the Union for Reform Judaism. Neither Kesher nor the group's tour coordinator, Jewish Agency subsidiary Israel Experience, would comment on the situation.

| Next 'James Bond' to be Filmed in Israel? |
 Israel and Britain signed a cooperation agreement in the field of cinema on Wednesday after 10 years of intense negotiations. According to the agreement, Israel will become a favorite filming location for British films while production companies will get financial incentives and tax benefits from Israel to shoot in the country.
The deal was signed by Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman and his British counterpart William Hague, who is currently visiting Israel.
