Susan G. Koman for the Cure - Israel Mission Delegation — October 25-29, 2010

In 1982, Nancy Brinker founded Susan G. Koman for the Cure in honor of her beloved sister. The goal of the foundation is to create a network for survivors to help raise awareness, raise money through events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® to help fund research, and most importantly, give hope to those struggling with the disease. To date, the foundation has raised more than $1 billion for breast cancer research.

"I love our organization," Nancy says. "It is my sister to me."

Susan G. Komen for the Cure is pleased to announce an exclusive opportunity to join an historic Mission Delegation trip to Jerusalem, Israel. We invite you to join us for this exciting series of events, hosted in partnership with Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America. Renowned philanthropists, dignitaries, survivors and activists from around the world will gather together to help ignite the breast cancer movement in a country in which breast cancer incidence is on the rise and accounts for nearly a third of all new cancer diagnoses. Delegates will participate in a host of unique events designed to raise awareness for the cause and provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience, including the first Susan G. Komen Israel Race for the Cure® and experiential tours of the Israel Museum, the City of David, and much more.

To take part in this exciting, historic event, choose from one of three custom travel packages, planned with Israel travel experts Kenes Tours, and designed to suit your preferences with regard to accommodations and group activities. Included in each package is a donation to support our Israel outreach efforts and to achieve Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s vision of a world without breast cancer.
