Jews have a very long history of suffering -- from the invasion of the Philistines (Hebrew: פְּלִשְׁ
Jews also suffered under the Persian invasion (539-332 BCE) and the Roman invasion (64 BC), and suffered mistreatment as well as exile from Judaea. Jews suffered condemnation and persecution in Europe for two millennia -- the Spanish Inquisition, pogroms and special ownership laws, both in Europe and in Muslim countries (Dhimmi Laws*). Not to mention ongoing and fluctuating waves of anti-Semitism around the world. Unlike Christians and Muslims -- and simply by reading history books -- it is well known that Jews as a whole do not generally have a past history of violence towards others, unless it is in self-defence. It is also well known that Jews have not had an army with which to defend themselves ever since the days of Kings Saul (1079 - 1007 BC), King David (1040–970 BC) and King Solomon (1011 BCE - 931 BCE). Due to all of the persecution and suffering it is imperative for Jews to have their own country and military, and that is why Israel must exist. Unfortunately, Israel is located in the heart of the Islamic world -- A very "inconvenient" location for radical Islam.
From the very beginning of the creation of the state of Israel, Israelis and their new military were accused of being forceful in their actions when entering their newly found state in 1948. Arabs were killed, and may have forcefully been expelled, or they may have fled. If it is true, there is nothing new or unusual about that. This behaviour from the part of new Israelis (Likud, Irgun and Stern Group) is perceived by some as terrorism. However, the members of those organisations were angered by fluctuating mistreatment Jews had endured for millennia, both in Europe and in Arab countries. Therefore, it is understandable why they felt the need to assert themselves as a strong and wilful nation -- not to be reckoned with any longer. Are anti-Israel enthusiasts capable of seeing early Israeli actions as "freedom fighting" after excessive persecution by Christians and Muslims alike, or are they only capable of applying this term to the actions of Hamas?
It is equally important to note that Arab countries encouraged the departure of those who lived in British Mandate Palestine whilst they waged war on Israel (1948 Arab-Israeli War*). Certain they would win, they assumed it would only be for a short period of time before they could return to their homes. The situation was not so, Israel won, and Muslims found themselves in the awkward situation of being refugees -- A status in which they find themselves to date. Had they wilfully agreed to the UN partition of Transjordan they would have had a home by now. Daniel Pipes wrote about this issue in an article entitled 'Is Jordan Palestine?'* The remaining Arabs who resisted the partition are those who cry out for a home today. If Israelis lived in Gaza, by now it would have looked like South Beach, Florida, as Tel Aviv does.
Many countries have expelled others in order to create a new country. As quoted by 'Why People Should Not Support "Palestine"': "Loss of land, humiliation at being militarily defeated - Others have suffered these and moved on to create a new nation and opportunities for themselves." To paraphrase, Israel's existence continues to remind the Arabs that they have lost the war. "Especially when "Palestine" is not Muslim land."
Examples: "The Germans were thrown out of East Prussia in Europe, 1945. Austria was given independence, Czechoslovakia regained independence and East Germany was given to Poland. The nationalist Chinese fled to Taiwan in 1949. The Germans and Taiwanese had coped with military defeat and loss of land. They haven't warred with their neighbours nor have they carried out attacks against them." Why can't Arabs cope? Hindus in East Pakistan*, suffered much worse treatment from Muslims. It is interesting to note that Muslims will never admit to these atrocities, and prefer focusing only on Israel's so-called wrong-doings. Are Germans, Taiwanese and Hindus better equipped to deal with adversity and defeat than Arabs?
During Operation Cast Lead, Israel may have committed war crimes against the people of Gaza. We have seen the flawed outcome of the Goldstone "Report."* Certainly the situation would never have come to this if Hamas had not launched rocket attacks into south Israel almost daily for a period of 8 long years, and then used their own people as human shields*. Cowardly as they are, Hamas was hiding amongst innocent civilians to purposely make it extremely difficult to attain them without taking the lives of innocent civilians. Anyone with common sense can see that this was a premeditated trap into which the IDF fell. Israel may have to pay for those accusations. Winston Churchill bombarded cities in Germany and took the lives of thousands of innocent women and children, but he is regarded as a hero*.
It was only 64-70 years ago when Germany was enslaving and sending people to gas chambers and crematoria -- Killing innocent people such as Jews, Catholics, gypsies, homosexuals, and the mentally impaired, but look at Germany today -- A well respected nation with a past many people have already forgiven or even forgotten. No group of people, not even Jews, are looking to destroy Germany, and this is the difference between Jews and Muslims.
Muslims do not want peace and they do not want to share the land. What they really want is to have it all and exile Jews from Israel once again, or murder them. The Islamic holy struggle (Jihad) is an indoctrination which demands of Islam to become the leading religion of the world, through conversion (wilful or forced) or subsequent fate. Reading the Hamas Charter* helps clarify what is their course of action.
There is a reason why a serge of Islamic migration to every country on the globe has taken place over the last two decades, and it is not simply to find a better life elsewhere. There is a clearly delineated plan to conquer the world through conversion and force. Islam being a "religion of peace" is a mockery. This is also the real reason why Gazans are not being helped by other Islamic countries. No Islamic country has sent in their military troops to fight against Israel, because they prefer using Gazans as leverage for global sympathy.
Hamas will continue to launch rockets until Israel breaks down and attacks again. As any other military, the IDF may once again use "unacceptable" tactics such as white phosphorus. Islam will then cry out to the UN (1947 - the very same organisation with a majority vote in favour of the state of Israel) and the "international community," accusing Israel of being the big bad wolf. Some people may, once again, buy into this propaganda, whilst others will never — those who see the bigger picture and understand the position in which Israelis find themselves. Though Israel has tried to create a sense of peace by pulling out of Gaza in 2005, whilst destroying Gush Katif -- an action disapproved of and regretted by many -- it was all done in vain. Hamas' cruelty both towards Gazans and towards the innocent lives of south Israel is evident.

It would be interesting to find out if Israelis are even aware of the Islamic plan of global domination? If not, they ought to listen to Brigitte Gabriel, Nonie Darwish, Pat Condell, Geert Wilders, Wafa Sultan, Walid Shoabat, Daniel Pipes, and many others who have repeatedly warned us all about the ultimate goal of Islamic domination. *Goldstone Report - The first thing the Goldstone report failed to understand, as you can see from the above pictures, is the most basic of concepts: there are no winners in war. Above are pictures of Israel and Gaza, pictures taken before, during and after the war. No one won the war. There was tremendous suffering on all sides - before, during and after the war. The Goldstone report failed, not only because it failed to understand this basic fact, but also because it ignored so much of what came before. Palestinian groups, including Hamas, have been responsible for launching more than 10,000 rockets and mortars at Israeli cities. In November, 2008 alone, over 120 rockets and mortars were fired at Israeli cities, injuring hundreds of people. One woman, a doctor who has treated Israeli and Palestinian patients equally and without discrimmination was called to testify before the Goldstone mission. She spoke of her injuries, after being seriously injured during a missile attack. She was days before her 8th operation to repair the damage.
